At the seniors’ club, one Tuesday a month, it’s the cooking workshop led by Etiennette and Maurice surrounded by many “apprentices”. Preparations start a week before. But on June 7, for the last workshop before the summer, the facilitators do not talk about the dishes to be prepared or the help needed; they meet at 10 o’clock, that’s all.
What a surprise when you arrive to see a brasucade being prepared, a suckling pig on the spit and a rustic pan-fried! Indeed, to thank their large and loyal team, Etiennette and Maurice ordered a meal from a talented caterer. So, for once, all seated around the table, they had the pleasure of tasting and chatting cheerfully… without any other concern. The meal was tasty and the guests very moved by such attention from “their chefs”. It is certain that in September, the resumption of this workshop will be done with training and good humor.
