It is possible to eat Hawaiian cuisine

After the bakery Oh la la! opened very recently, Nissan is enriched with a new store of Hawaiian culinary specialties, the Kawaii. The couple Magnolia Léger and Grégory Catala opened their shop at n° 8, avenue de la Promenade instead of the hair salon.

They offer poke bowls. Grégory Catala explains: “Hawaiian cuisine is based on a bowl of Japanese rice, salad or quinoa offered on top of a protein – chicken, salmon, egg or feta – which is completed with raw vegetables, raw vegetables”. The proteins are prepared in a homemade marinade and the raw vegetables are fresh. After fresh cuisine this summer, Kawaii is offering hot poke bowls this winter.

After training as sushimen and various trips, Magnolia and Grégory came to the concept of the poke bowl. To stand out from traditional Asian restaurants, they decided to offer Hawaiian cuisine.

Kawaii is open for on-site catering or take-out from Tuesday to Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Sunday and Monday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Soon Magnolia and Grégory will complete their menu with sushi. Contact at 07 83 23 04 31.
