Nîmes: fresh produce and home cooking gives Questel the Maître restaurateur label

The restaurant Le Questel has obtained the Maître restaurateur label. Jimmy Vialle, the director and Pierre Verot, chef, are delighted with this recognition.

The Place Questel brasserie, which bears the same name, opened in February 2017. Since April, the Nîmes establishment has received the “maître restaurateur” label. A title, officially presented this Wednesday, created in France in 2007 by the Ministry of Commerce and which met in the light of restaurateurs committed to an eco-responsible approach with dishes from tradition and culinary innovation.

Homemade exclusively

It is the only one issued by the State for French catering. There are thus 3,300 restaurateurs in France to benefit from this distinction which rewards the kitchen, but also the room and the service.

At Questel, chef Pierre Verot sums up his philosophy “quality and respect for the product”. The menu changes according to the seasons and the products are exclusively fresh. The homemade is thus at the heart of the achievements.
